National Geographic Explorers Festival

National Geographic Society

A Celebration of Science, Conservation and Community

One of two tentpole annual events, National Geographic Explorers Festival convenes National Geographic Explorers, staff, donors and attendees in June of each year for a week long celebration affectionately known as Exfest. A passionate community of scientists, conservationists, researchers and photographers are featured in mainstage speaking events and workshops in Washington, D.C. As the creative director for our Signature Events portfolio, I worked with a team of designers and event production experts to lead and execute the 2025 Explorers Festival experience.
